Every resident has a named support worker and scheduled time with them each week or fortnight, depending on the placement. Sessions are planned rather than reactive — you know when they're happening and what you're working on. We use them for benefit claims and paperwork, appointments, goal-setting, and anything that has come up since last time.
Holding a tenancy takes a set of practical skills that nobody is formally taught. We work through them at your pace: setting up a budget that survives contact with a real month, food shopping and cooking, keeping on top of bills and correspondence, and managing any arrears or debt.
Supported accommodation is a stage, not a destination. When you're ready, we help you find and secure your own tenancy — applications, viewings, deposits, references and the practical business of moving. We stay in touch through the first weeks so the move actually holds.
