REAI Housing Ltd is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website. Our office is at Cambrai Court Offices, 1229-1235 Stratford Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, B28 9AA.

When you complete an enquiry form on this website we collect the information you type into it.

Our online referral and initial assessment form asks for more detail about the person being referred: the details of the person making the assessment, the applicant's personal and contact details, date of birth, National Insurance number, current situation, income, debts and any gambling issues, any criminal record, signatures and, optionally, equality monitoring information such as ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation and communication needs.

We use it only to assess whether we can offer the applicant supported accommodation and support, and — with the consent given on the form — to make checks with other agencies such as medical professionals, probation and social services.

Completed forms are stored in our database and can only be opened by REAI Housing staff after signing in to our administration area. When a form arrives, staff are sent an email containing a reference number and a link; the applicant's details are not included in the email.

We use the information you send solely to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to a placement, tenancy or landlord agreement, to take that forward.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to someone who has contacted us — and, where an agreement follows, performance of a contract.

We do not use enquiry details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes.

We keep enquiry and referral information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described on this page.

Enquiry records are stored in a managed database and are accessible only to authorised REAI Housing staff through a password-protected administration area.

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no third-party analytics script on it at the time of writing.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it transferred to another organisation.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
